About Bow River Properties
Bow River Properties is a local real estate solutions company based in Calgary, AB and is an extension of our parent company DCI Properties. We have been buying houses and helping homeowners since 2016 and have purchased over 100 properties to date. Our goal is to give home sellers an alternative and hassle-free option to the traditional method of listing a house or rental property with a real estate agent. We understand that certain circumstances and timelines may make it difficult to renovate, clean and stage the home, thereafter putting it up on the market for an offer to come in.
We also have an extensive network of real estate professionals and often refer our sellers to others in our network to help with various parts of the transaction (mortgage brokers, lawyers, moving companies, junk removal companies, construction companies, property management companies, etc.). We have even been able to help secure off-market rentals for our home sellers who are looking to downsize. With our small dynamic team at Bow River Properties, we ensure that your needs are met from the first time you speak to us on the phone to the day your house closes (hooray!).
Meet Our (Awesome) Team!
Jeremy is our property acquisition specialist. He’s the one who will come out and take a look at the property and works with our sellers on the purchase contract. When he isn’t buying houses, Jeremy enjoys learning about real estate, spending time with his fiancé, and playing/coaching basketball. Jeremy comes from a family of entrepreneurs and grew up on a 3rd generation farm in southern Alberta.
Cody is our Property Dispositions Specialist. He will be the one to ensure our financial partners are on board with property purchases, and will coordinate a walk-through of the house with our contractors and business partners to ensure everything is in order. Cody has completed a few personal flip projects over the years, so he is no stranger to renovations and what’s needed to bring a property back to life.
Nil is our property analysis specialist, ie our numbers guy! He’s the one that crunches the numbers and figures out if a property will be profitable for us, either as a flip or as a rental property. Born and raised in Toronto, he moved to London for his undergraduate degree at Ivey Business School at Western University. Prior to joining DCI, Nil worked as a management consultant at a large firm in the GTA.
Jason is our sales director and oversees the purchase, sale, and possible rental of all properties we close. He will be the one to ensure our financial partners are on board and will coordinate a walk-through of the house with our contractors and business partners. He also helps us with due diligence and is focused on expanding DCI Properties into new markets across Ontario and Alberta.
Courtenay is our transaction coordinator & internal bookkeeper. She’s the one who takes care of all the paperwork needed to close each deal. Courtenay will be the one in contact with your lawyer after the offer is signed, and will work with your lawyer’s office to make sure they have all the documentation needed for closing.
The second Ryan to join the team was Ryan Parker. Parker wears a number of hats on our team. He is in charge of our operations and makes sure everything is running smoothly. He oversees our marketing, HR, and IT. He also coordinates renovation plans with our contractors to ensure they are being kept on a timeline and on budget. On top of this, he oversees our finances to make sure we are in a good position and have enough cash available for house purchases.
Adelle Di Nardo
Adelle is our Senior Lead Manager and one of the initial touch points when sellers reach out to DCI Properties. Adelle chats with homeowners about their properties to better understand if we’re a good fit – she’s always looking for that ‘win-win’ outcome!
Katie works alongside our other Lead Managers as the initial point of contact with our home sellers. Katie will help answer any questions you have about who we are and how it works, and will guide you through any other questions you have to see if it’s a good fit for your home buying program.
Jordan is also one of our Lead Managers and the initial points of contact for home sellers reaching out to find out more about Bow River Properties. He loves to get to know our sellers, and you will feel like you have made a new friend after chatting with him. Jordan was born and raised in Sarnia, Ontario, though he also spent time living in Guelph, ON and Edmonton, AB.
Kristen is our administrative assistant and the oil that keeps our engines running smoothly! She wears many hats including organizing travel schedules, connecting and collaborating with various partners of the business, creating marketing material for properties we decide to sell, and a number of other “team supporting” tasks.
Lisa joins the team as the Executive Assistant to the owner Ryan DeLaurentis. With over 15 years of relevant experience in administrative and executive roles, Lisa has refined her skills in time management, organization and prioritization; not to mention keeping a cool head and getting things done when things get crazy in Ryan’s world! On top of that, Lisa was an owner of Special Occasions by Lisa – an event planning company and has published 2 books in fiction.
Lisa is happily married with two kids and on her days off, she enjoys reading, writing and spending quality time with her adorable family.
The great thing about having such an awesome team of A-Players is that it makes my job a whole lot easier. I mainly oversee the team and make sure everyone is happy and knows what they should be working on. I manage relationships with our money partners, oversee marketing content changes, and assist Jeremy with sales training. Courtenay and I own a number of rental properties, so real estate is definitely a big part of our life.
Otis is our team mascot but likes to think he’s the one in charge. As a 90lb bulldog, he will sometimes demand a butt scratch when you are in the middle of working on something important, and he likes lying on his back making noises in the middle of team meetings. He’s not the dog from Turner and Hootch, but he does share many similar qualities. Otis like snacks, naps, and playing tug. When he isn’t working, he likes going on short walks or laying on the couch for some extra R&R.
