Is This A Scam? I’ve Never Heard Of Private Selling Before

Most people go through an agent when they sell their home, and they are not aware of alternatives such as private selling. Private selling enables the homeowner sell their home at an agreed price to a buyer (that’s us!) and the transaction occurs through a lawyer, just as you would when you work with a realtor. The differences are, private selling does not require you to pay a commission or closing fee, will buy your house AS-IS, and does not list your house on the MLS (so there is no need for you to repair, stage or host multiple showings).

How Do You Come Up With An Offer For My House?

We always refer to comparables and try to come up with a fair cash offer that is close to them. Another factor is the condition of your house and our renovation budget. If your house needs a lot of work, we might have to buy your property at slightly less than market value so the transaction makes business sense for us.
